Brooks Pierce Attorney Joins Board to Support Victims of Sex Trafficking


Brooks Pierce attorney Ryan Fairchild has joined the board of directors, young professionals committee, for A Safe Place, a nonprofit to support victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Based in Wrightsville Beach, A Safe Place focuses on prevention, restoration and advocacy for victims of sex trafficking. The organization offers training and education for local schools and organizations and provides support in the southeastern region of North Carolina.

Fairchild practices civil, commercial and federal business litigation, helping clients with business mergers and acquisitions, representing clients on issues of cross-border business and defending clients in white-collar criminal matters. A former law clerk, he studied law at The University of North Carolina School of Law and received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
