An article written by Brooks Pierce attorneys Bill Cary and Collins Saint was recently published in the fall issue of Geneva Group International’s (GGI) Labor Law Practice Group Newsletter. Cary and Saint’s article, entitled “Supreme Court Approves Arbitration Agreement Class Action Bar,” discusses a recent Supreme Court decision to broaden protections available to employers under arbitration agreements. The article also provides framework for assessing the advantages and disadvantages of an employer-mandated arbitration agreement program.

GGI is a worldwide alliance of well-established and experienced accounting, consulting and law firms that are committed to providing clients with specialized solutions for their international business needs.

Cary focuses his practice on employment contracting issues, including drafting non-competition and non-solicitation agreements as well as employment practice audits. Saint represents employers before government agencies and in state and federal courts on numerous employment law matters, including EEOC charges and lawsuits, common law employment claims and contract disputes.
