Brooks Pierce Partner Named Chair-Elect of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division

Brooks Pierce partner Will Quick has been named chair-elect of the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Young Lawyers Division.

The NCBA Young Lawyers Division is open to all bar association members under the age of 36 and all lawyers within their first three years of practice. The division provides members the opportunity to network with other legal professionals, hold leadership roles within the NCBA and participate in multiple community service projects throughout the year.

Quick represents businesses and local governments in trial and appellate matters and before state agencies in North Carolina and South Carolina. He also assists businesses in proactively designing and implementing data privacy policies and procedures in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape and advises clients facing data compromise and other security events. In 2018, Quick was recognized as one of the Triangle Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under 40” and named a “Rising Star” in appellate law by North Carolina Super Lawyers.
