Claire O’Brien Named Co-Chair of Communications Committee for North Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division

Brooks Pierce attorney Claire O’Brien was named co-chair of the Communications Committee for the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD).

The YLD of the NCBA is open to all NCBA members under age 36 or within their first three years of practice. The YLD provides members a pathway into both the legal profession and the NCBA, with opportunities to lead and serve.

The Communications Committee manages the publicity activities of the NCBA YLD, including its blog and e-newsletter, to facilitate connection among YLD members.

O'Brien advises companies in the health care, medical device and pharmaceutical industries on regulatory compliance issues. She is actively involved in the community, volunteering with the Legal Aid of North Carolina Lawyer on the Line Program.
