While the tools may enhance efficiency for meetings, they also come with a slew of potential risks when it comes to data privacy, confidentiality, retention, and consent. To reduce these risks, Dean suggested some best practices when handling AI transcription features, including immediately reviewing transcripts for accuracy. He added that labeling AI-generated content, following storage/retention guidelines, and designating approved providers will also minimize risks. Dean explained, “By adopting best practices now, organizations can mitigate these risks and better position themselves for future compliance.”
