Brooks Pierce Attorney to Participate in NCBA CLE

Brooks Pierce attorney Katie Wong will participate in the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) “Professionalism for New Attorneys” continuing legal education (CLE). The program is complimentary for newly licensed attorneys. The event will take place on Dec. 2-3, 2025, via live webcast and in person at the Bar Center in Cary.

Wong will participate in the panel discussion, “Inner Workings of the Law Office: Public and Private Sectors.” Panelists will discuss the basics of law office operations and explore the differences between private-sector and public-sector/public-interest firms. They will also explain how to obtain resources available through the North Carolina State Bar and other organizations.

Wong focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation, representing clients in all state and federal courts. She works with individuals and companies facing white-collar criminal charges and government investigations.
