Brooks Pierce Attorneys Present Webinar on Mental Health Issues Affecting Companies and Their Employees
Brooks Pierce attorneys Patricia Goodson and Sarah Saint presented a webinar on mental health issues affecting companies and their employees.
The webinar, "Navigating the ADA, FMLA and Workers' Compensation Laws," discussed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and workers’ compensation laws as recent issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, access to childcare and employee burnout spur excessive employee turnover, lost productivity and legal liability.
This webinar offered an active approach to addressing these issues and covered:
- Compliance with ADA regulations
- Meeting the requirements of FMLA
- Workers’ Compensation law
- Creating a positive work environment
