Brooks Pierce partner David Sar recently presented contract and intellectual property (IP) issues crucial to artists as part of the Artful Business Cohort – Learning the ABCs of Art and Business, a 16-week collaborative professional development course hosted by the High Point Arts Council and Sabrina Tillman’s The Gallery on Main.
The 16-week course is designed to uplift and unite emerging marginalized artists in the greater High Point area. It is funded by The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and the North Carolina Arts Council.
Sar represents clients in commercial disputes and matters pertaining to technology and intellectual property. He litigates and handles business transactions involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets and technology.
