Brooks Pierce partner Ed Turlington spoke at the 58th annual Convention of the Carolina Auto Recyclers (CAR) on April 10. The event was held in Research Triangle Park, NC.
Turlington discussed the 2026 legislative session and its potential impact on auto recyclers. He has served since 2012 as Counsel to the Recycling Association of NC, the trade association for metal and materials recyclers (including motor vehicles). Turlington and the firm have represented over 30 clients before North Carolina state government.
CAR was formed in 1968 to advocate for the North Carolina auto recycling industry. It also provides education and training for its members.
Having served in key leadership positions in state and federal government, Ed Turlington uses this experience to serve clients in a variety of industries, including health care, transportation and education. Much of his time is spent advising technology companies on legal issues and public policy matters.
