Brooks Pierce Attorney Named One of 20 Most Influential People in Greensboro
Brooks Pierce attorney Justin Outling was included in the News & Record’s People of Influence: Top 20. To create the list, the paper examined 1,500 board members of various elected, appointed and nonprofit boards in Greensboro and Guilford County. A point value was assigned to serving on each board based on its impact in the community culturally, financially and socially. Outling ranked 11th on the list, which recognized his role as an elected member of the Greensboro City Council and service on the boards of Elsewhere, Greensboro Downtown Parks, the Hospice Foundation of Greater Greensboro, the Metropolitan Planning Organization and Triad Stage.
Outling focuses his practice on business litigation, white-collar criminal defense and health care litigation. In addition to his involvement above, Outling serves on the board of visitors for UNC-Greensboro. In 2016, he was recognized as one of the “40 Leaders Under 40” by the Triad Business Journal and received the Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers Outstanding Young Lawyers Award.
