Brooks Pierce Attorneys Present Webinar on Navigating Legal Issues During Workforce Reductions

Brooks Pierce attorneys Erin Barker and Beth Langley presented a labor and employment webinar on March 30 about legal issues during workforce reductions.

The webinar, “Reductions in Force: Navigating legal issues that arise during workforce reductions,” focused on topics including voluntary separations versus involuntary separations, severance packages and separation agreements, non-discriminatory decisional units, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act and mini-WARN acts, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (OWBPA).
