Brooks Pierce Welcomes New Associate


Leading North Carolina law firm Brooks Pierce is pleased to announce that Samantha Hovaniec has joined the firm as an associate based out of the firm’s Raleigh office. Her practice will focus on transactional law, representing businesses of all sizes in various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and equity and debt financing.

Before joining Brooks Pierce, Hovaniec practiced with a leading global law firm in New York. She also served as an extern to the Honorable Allyson K. Duncan in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She earned her bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina and received her juris doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
