Chris Dodd is an attorney, nuclear engineer, and former U.S. Navy submarine officer whose career blends legal advocacy, scientific expertise, and public service. He focuses his practice on utilities regulation, internal investigations & compliance, white-collar criminal defense, and commercial litigation.

My Practices

  • Chris represents clients before the North Carolina Utilities Commission.

  • Chris conducts and advises on internal investigations for allegations of criminal misconduct, corporate malfeasance, ethics complaints and workplace issues for private businesses, local government entities and individuals.

  • Chris works with individuals and businesses who are facing white-collar criminal charges and/or investigations by governmental agencies for a variety of issues, including mail and wire fraud, accounting fraud, computer crimes, and tax controversy, among other matters.

  • Chris represents businesses of all sizes, as well as individuals, in litigation in state and federal courts. He counsels clients through a wide variety of complex commercial matters.
